VIVID HAIR LIVE’S OUTSIDE OF THE NORM
Looking to the new trends in vibrant hair colour
Looking to the new season of vibrant hair colour, I am seeing Vivid face frame of popping colours, mixed with subtle balayage, pastel shades and inspiration from the Egirl originating from online gamer. 90’s inspired money piece and two tone pastel shades.
I’m a post punk passion
Born in the late 60’s my passion for vibrant colours lay in the post punk women of the 70”s, with Siouzie Sioux rocking her black crimped hair and layered eye makeup, I used to wear my makeup just like hers and colour my hair black and backcombed, my eyeliner is still a hang over of my post punk passion. I have toyed with and loved every colour of the rainbow. Shaved hair, added hair and had tons of fun. Hair is your expression of everything that is you. It’s your artistic expression. Inspired from your interest, music, influences maybe trends and fashion.
Manic Panic Colours
Manic Panic Sisters and New York City natives Tish and Snooky Bellomo have been America’s darlings of creative hair colour and punk rock pioneers and tastemakers, since their days in the original Blondie band line-up in the mid 70s. Opening America’s first Punk Boutique in 1977, they went on to start the world’s first alternative beauty brand, Manic Panic®, leading the hair colour revolution and changing the concept of what beauty is forever!
Modern vivd
I revived my love for vivid colour work with amazing artist Viki from The Groove in Wadebridge. Working from a small perfectly formed studio in Wadebridge, she is talented educator with Manic Panic colours. I went on to do a few training courses with her learning the foundation of great vivd work through to pastel subtle colours. Elevating my passion to whole new levels of expertise.
